Entertainment Expressions is a full-service audio-video programming and design company that opened in May of 2005. The concept "Dream" of the business model was discussed prior to the closing of a large chain custom retail electronics store that Virgil Richardson and Jess Waldron were both employed at. They wanted to take much of what they had learned from previous experiences and apply that toward other custom concepts they wanted to offer. After many hours of discussion, Entertainment Expressions was born. Since the grand opening in 2005, Entertainment Expressions has added hundreds of new products and services and continues to grow daily. E2 services dozens of commercial clients in addition to the hundreds of residential customers in the area.
Jess and Virgil are directly involved in every aspect of day-to-day operations at Entertainment Expressions. From customer home visits to installations, Jess and Virgil use a hands-on approach and take pride in knowing every customer who does business with them. Both owners of Entertainment Expressions grew up in the Quad Cities and are proud to say that E2 is locally owned and operated. When you get exactly what you want, You call it good service. We call it just another day here at Entertainment Expressions!
Jess most recently worked in the consumer electronics industry with a local store that closed in 2005. Previously Jess was the Operations Director with a prestigious installation company, where for six years he grew a 150 plus staff of installation crews and support staffs in four large markets across the country. Jess proudly served in the U.S. Navy for nine years. He has worked in construction, building maintenance, HVAC, computer programming and electronic equipment repair and prides himself on taking a creative approach to problem solving.
Virgil also served in the military with the U.S. Air Force where he became an accomplished dental lab technician. Upon detachment from the service, he entered the field of sales. Eventually, Virgil found his way into the consumer electronics industry as a sales person at the same local electronics store where Jess later worked. He quickly became that company's top regional salesperson and accepted a roll as store manager. Virgil has established himself as one of the most accomplished consumer electronics authorities in the Quad Cities area and has amassed a considerable clientele who refuse to deal with anyone else in the business. He has a great love of music and has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old. He has several years of experience in the set up of Live Sound Pro Audio Systems. Virgil has such a love for the business that he is able to bring a level of excitement to every experience a customer has with Entertainment Expressions.
Jeff was born and raised in the Bettendorf area. He started designing systems and selling electronics at Planet Audio in 1995. In 2003, he was promoted to store manager and ran the business until the owner decided to retire and close the doors in 2011. The E2 guys were like-minded in their desire to offer strong customer service and custom installation and an instant bond was formed . After meeting with the owners Jeff decided this was the best fit for him and has been with Entertainment Expressions design team ever since. Jeff has a passion for 2 Channel audio and turntables, and has come to be known in the Quad Cities area as the Vinyl Guy.
